Factor 4

Factor 4 is a highly concentrated, super-rich blood serum that has four times as many growth factors than any blood-rich injection product. It is a revolutionary anti-ageing treatment that takes platelet rich plasma (PRP) technology to the next level by harnessing the body’s own growth factors to increase collagen and elastin in the skin.  Factor 4 is an autologous conditioned serum, meaning it is an all-natural product that uses only the patient’s own blood making it the perfect treatment for individuals who prefer a more holistic and natural approach to their beauty and well-being.

HOW DOES FACTOR 4 WORK?

​

During the initial process 10-20mls of blood is taken from the patient. The blood is collected in specialised advanced tubing which is immediately placed in an incubator for 6-9hours.  During the incubation process the blood is exposed to pyrogenic-free surfaces, this stimulates a vigorous and rapid increase in the synthesis of growth factors and cytokines.  Once the incubation process is complete the blood sample is then centrifuged (spun) to separate the serum from the cell products.  The serum is then filtered to remove any leftover platelets, cells and bacteria, ensuing the most pure serum is produced.  This serum can now be divided, stored and frozen for up to 7 months.

The increased growth factor levels in Factor 4 naturally stimulate your body’s inflammatory responses leading to increased collagen production and tissue healing to benefit skin elasticity and slow the ageing process by reducing fine lines, wrinkles and crepiness in areas of the face, neck, décolletage and back of hands, and improving overall skin tone, pore size, texture, tightness and quality. SIDE EFFECTS

There are a few temporary side effects to be aware of following Factor 4. The procedure can causes short-term swelling, redness, mild bruising and skin flaking.   These side effects can last for a few days.

AFTERCARE

​

Hydrate your skin for 3-5 days after treatment with a balm and moisturiser (skincare included in package).  Avoid using ‘active’ products including retinols, AHA’s and BHA’s for 5 days following treatment. Sun protection is essential to avoid any pigment changes to the skin.

This package combines Factor 4 and skin needling for a total of 4 treatments 7-10 days apart.  A full size cleanser and balm also included to assist with aftercare, ensuring optimal results are achieved. The use of a topical anaesthetic is used for patient comfort prior to treatment.

This package involves 6 treatments 3-4 weeks apart.  Factor 4 naturally stimulates the body’s own hair follicles encouraging instinctive, strong and vibrant hair growth from root to tip.  The use of a topical anaesthetic is used for patient comfort prior to treatment.
